Look: Lady Danger

Lady Danger 4Hi there! Here I am with yet another look. This time I’m presenting an intense look, suitable for special occasion. As Valentine’s Day is around the corner, this might be a look for that occasion. The protagonist of this makeup look is without a doubt the Lady Danger lipstick by MAC. I’ve been wanting this lipstick for such a long time and when I finally got it, I could not wait to use it. Isn’t it precious? It is a red matte lipstick with an orange undertone. In my opinion, this lipstick would look fantastic on a tanned skin. I will be definitely wearing it in the summer as soon as I have more color.

The eyes are very light, yet intense with smoked colors. The skin is glowy and the cheeks very contoured. Let’s get to the details.

I was not satisfied with my attempt to mix the Benefit High Beam highlighter with the NARS Sheer Glow foundation. So this time, I took a more important amount of the highlighter and I mixed it with the foundation to finally apply it with a humid beauty blender on the skin. As you might see from the pictures, this time it paid off! I really like how the skin turned out with this method. I am definitely going to redo this again! As a powder, I used the L’Oréal Nude Magic BB Powder on the T-zone and under the eyes in order to fix the concealer (I did this step, once I had finished the eyes). I intentionally bronzed the cheeks to sculpt the face. As it is a glowy look, I applied a little Zoeva blush from the Sun Powder palette with contains a little sparkles. Finally I applied with the beauty blender some High Beam highlighter and on top of that MAC’s Whisper of Guilt.

After I had prepped the eyes with the Zoeva eye primer, I applied a mix of Makeupgeek’s Shimma Shimma and Bling eyeshadows on the lid. They’re, as the name tells it, shimmery colors. Then I applied Naked (matte) in the crease and Hustle (shimmer) in the outer V, Vanilla Bean by Makeupgeek on the brow bone and a little amount of Shimma Shimma in the very corner of the eyebrows. In order to make it look more intense, I applied the Bourjois Khôl & Contour eyeliner very close to the lash line which I then, smudged with a pencil brush and the eyeshadow Corrupt by Makeupgeek. I did the same under the lower waterline adding Hustle as a color to smudge with the other two. I applied the Benefit They’re real mascara and some false lashes which is something I really do. Since this is a look for a special occasion, I occasionally put on some falsies : – ) lol

Once the eyes were done, I styled the eyebrows with the KIKO styling set.

Finally I applied the star of this look, my much loved Lady Danger lipstick. I cannot say enough how beautiful it is. ♥♥♥

Anyhow, if you have made it until down here, thank you for your time. I hope this look gives you an idea!

Until the next post!
