Look: Copper

DSC_0009Hi ! Today I’m doing a look with a color I have wanted to use since a long time. I am talking about the color “Glamorous” by Makeup Geek (click here for the review of these eyeshadows).Though you will find on the Makeupgeek site the eyeshadow described as a “shimmery bronze gold” I would simply described it as copper J It is a really great color and so easy to work with. It’s powdery but doesn’t have any fall outs. In my opinion it would look more beautiful on green or blue eyes and even make those two eye colors pop. On me it look very natural, I could wear this for the office but also for a night out, both in winter and in summer. I guess it is a go-to makeup look with a very particular color.

Here’s the detail of the look.

In the sequel of the NARS sheer glow foundation trials, I applied this time the shade Mont Blanc on my skin. Exactly as last time, I applied it using a humid beauty blender. A humid sponge is softer and makes the result appear very natural, especially compared to a bush (in my opinion). Also, you might have read (and seen) more than once that I have deep scars on my face due to a severe acne. The beauty blender helps to literally camouflage the scars and soften the deepest ones (if this makes sense). Anyhow, I am very satisfied with how my skin looks like with this procedure and my NARS Sheer Glow foundation. I haven’t had that much time to test the foundation except for the look for the blog, but I really like it so far. Great texture and looks very natural! The rest of the skin preparation is the exact same one as in my previous post, so I am not going to bother you with it again.

DSC_0010Concerning the eyes, I will not extend myself too much on this as it is a very basic makeup look. I applied as usual my much loved Zoeva eye primer on the entire lid. Then I applied the star eyeshadow of this look, the color Glamorous by MakeupGeek on the lid, Naked buy UrbanDecay in the crease and again, by MakeupGeek the color Vanilla Bean to highlighten the brow bone. I applied the exact same colors under the waterline. Finally I applied the Benefit They’re mascara. I know I wrote a couple of posts back that I didn’t really like it, however, I paid € 25, so I have to use it know! lol I don’t like to waste stuff. Subsequently I styled my eyebrows with my KIKO Eyebrow expert kit and fixed them with the MUD brow fix gel.

As it is a natural look, I kept the lips very natural as well applying the Basic Lipliner and a little L’Oréal Glam Shine gloss in clear crystal which is a see-through gloss.

I hope you like it!
